Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking your stay at Chiang Mai Detox. By confirming a reservation, you agree to the terms outlined below, which are designed to ensure a safe, respectful and transformative wellness experience for all guests.
1. Booking & Payments
• A reservation is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit or full payment, as stated in your booking confirmation.
• Remaining balances (if any) must be paid by the due date specified in your confirmation email.
• If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and offer the space to another guest.
2. Cancellations & Changes
• Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival are eligible for a full refund of the amount received minus the transaction fees.
• Cancellations made within 15 - 30 days of arrival are eligible for a 50% refund of the amount received minus the transaction fees.
• Cancellations made 14 days or less are non-refundable.
• Date changes can only be made more than 30 days prior to arrival, they are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.
• Approved refunds are processed by bank wire transfer in Thai Baht only.
3. Health & Medical Responsibility
• Our programs are designed to support detoxification and wellness, but they are not a substitute for medical treatment.
• You are responsible for consulting your doctor before joining the program, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or are unsure of your suitability to join the program.
• You must complete our health questionnaire honestly and in full. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in your participation being limited or cancelled without refund.
• In case of any health concerns during your stay, we may recommend that you seek medical attention or discontinue the program.
4. Digital Detox & Privacy
• To support deep rest and mental clarity, the use of phones and digital devices are not permitted in shared spaces.
• Quiet hours may be in place during certain times of day; please respect these for the benefit of all guests.
• We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or to provide agreed services (e.g. transfers, payments).
5. Conduct & Liability
• Chiang Mai Detox is a shared, respectful environment. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, aggressive behaviour or illegal activities.
• Alcohol, recreational drugs and illegal substances are not permitted on the property.
• Smoking is only allowed in a designated outdoor area and is strictly prohibited inside guest rooms or any common indoor spaces.
• We reserve the right to ask any guest who seriously disrupts the retreat environment to leave, without refund.
• You are responsible for any damage you cause to the property, facilities or equipment, and may be charged for repair or replacement costs.
• While we take reasonable care to provide a safe environment, you participate in all activities, detox protocols and use of facilities at your own risk.
• Chiang Mai Detox, its owners and staff are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage or expense that may occur during or after your stay, except where required by law.
• You are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance that covers retreat participation, medical care, cancellations and travel disruptions before your arrival.
• Please follow all guidance provided by our team regarding use of facilities (such as herbal steam room, pool, treatment rooms and common areas) and participation in activities.
• We may restrict access to certain facilities or activities if we believe it is in the best interest of your health or safety, or that of other guests.
• Personal belongings are your responsibility; we are not responsible for loss, theft or damage of personal items.
• These Terms & Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your stay at Chiang Mai Detox, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand.
By confirming a booking, making payment or staying at Chiang Mai Detox, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
