Frequently Asked Questions

When should a Fasting & Detox program NOT be undertaken?

We do not recommend that you participate in our Fasting & Detox program if you have one or more of the following conditions: You are pregnant; You are breast feeding; You are an insulin dependent diabetic; You are severely anaemic; You have recently undergone colon surgery; You have severe diverticulitis / severe Haemorrhoids / Intestinal cancer; You are malnourished / underweight; You are a minor (under 18 years of age); You suffer from a chronic disease. Always consult your Doctor if you have any medical condition which may affect your ability to participate in the program.

Do I need Medical Supervision during my Detox?

No. Fasting is a very safe and natural process. It is a means used in nature by all creatures from the beginning of time to assist the body to relieve itself from discomfort, pain and dis-ease. So long as you follow our instructions, your body will be fully supported by superfood supplements, juice and broth so you will not require medical supervision. Prior to participation, we require you to complete our HEALTH Questionnaire. If there is any concern, we will recommend a medical check with your Doctor prior to starting.

Will I feel any Side Effects during the fast?

Feelings of weakness, fatigue headaches and flu-like symptoms can occur during the first 2-3 days but usually as a result of WITHDRAWAL from caffeine, alcohol and sugar. If you follow our preparation guidelines these will either be reduced or AVOIDED.

The fast itself may trigger a pre-existing condition to temporarily flare but it's a sign of healing and repair.

What should I bring to the retreat?

We recommend comfortable lounge wear, yoga clothing, a swim suit, flip flops or easy to slip on shoes, sneakers or comfortable walking shoes, a refillable 1 litre water bottle, natural toiletries and an open mind! A detailed packing list will be sent upon confirmation of your booking.

Will I feel hungry during the Detox?

It is common to feel a little hunger in the first day or two but with the aid of our supplements, electrolytes, fresh juices and broth flooding your body with nutrients, you are being very well fed nutritionally. High-fibre colon detox supplements also help keep the hunger away and stabilise your blood sugar. Once your body switches to Ketosis (around 2-3 days in), hunger typically disappears.

How do I get to the retreat from Chiang Mai airport?

We offer scheduled airport transfers for all our guests. Once your flight details are confirmed, our team will coordinate your pick-up to ensure a smooth transition to our sanctuary.

Is a Colonic / Enema difficult to administer?

No! After our demonstration, you will be self-administering your colonic in the privacy of your own bathroom. The results are amazing: clear skin, increased energy, and improved digestion. Conditions such as IBS, gas bloating, and constipation can become a thing of the past.

Can I use my phone during the retreat?

While we don't strictly forbid devices, we strongly encourage a digital detox to maximize the benefits of your stay. Disconnecting from external stressors allows your nervous system to truly reset. If you must use one, it will be restricted to your private ROOM ONLY.

Will I lose Weight during the cleanse and how much do most people lose?

Most definitely! Cleansing removes built up waste from your intestines, gallstones from your liver and toxins that are stored in your fat cells. Furthermore, your body will switch into KETOSIS (burning stored fat) to fuel and energise you throughout your fasting & detox journey. The average weight loss is between 3 – 8 kg on a 7-day program.
